Transportation is the background of East Carolina Mortuary Services and it continues to be the largest part of our operation. We specialize in local and long distance transportation.

• Home & Nursing Home Removals
• In-State and Out-of-State Transportation
• Transportation to/from RDU Airport

Our drivers utilize suburban type vehicles, due to their comfort and durability, for all transportation work. Should you require a hearse for a home or nursing home removal, that offering is available for an additional fee.

Professional Services

Beyond transportation, ECMS also offers the following professional services:

• Embalming
• Refrigerated Storage
• Filing of Death Certificate
• Filing of Burial Transit Permit
• Shipping Arrangements
